As salaamu ‘alaykum
Huda TV has now launched Huda Academy. Huda Academy is an Islamic Studies website where you will find FREE courses as well as certificate courses all recorded in high quality format. Ma sha Allah, I don’t think it is anything like it on the internet. You be the judge…
Here is the link for <a href=”http://www.hudaonlineacademy.com”>Arabic Studies</a> offered at Huda Academy…
so here we see the bulbs coming up a little bit more. They’ll grow slowly at first but I am expecting these to be ready ready by Christmas. I love paperwhites and think they are so lovely. My mother hates the scent of them but hey what pleases one….as they say 🙂
here is what dampening off looks like. It is a fungal disease that attacks seedlings. Seedlings need moisture, light and heat to grow and sprout the same three things that are also needed by fungi to grow and thrive. dampening off cannot to my knowledge be prevented, the only remedy is to pull the seedlings that have suffered from it and apply a fungicide to the soil.
So I’ve decided since I have my gardening blog, the seeded gardener (http://theseededgardener.wordpress.com/ ) and I have my international politics blog international politics for peace (http://internationalpolitics4peace.wordpress.com/) that I will use this blog for my riding posts and my experiences with my horse Danny. As well as my experiences around equines before I had Danny. I posted his picture on here earlier.
I am also going to post some of the helpful hints I’ve picked up along the way and techniques I’ve used in helping my barn mates and my friends to be better riders. I’ll be posting videos here and on my facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/equitationgirl) from time to time.
Have a great Memorial Day everyone. I’ll be on the back of a good horse.
Hopefully you will too…
this is a photo of my horse Roome At The Toppe or Danny. He is a 15.3hh Thoroughbred gelding, born in 1988. He has been with me since 1995. He hates having his mane pulled and so I roach his mane every spring so that he doesn’t overheat in summer. He is a joker. He loves to try and eat my cellphone because it is red and looks like an apple. as well he loves to try and eat my camera which is not red. He also enjoys running around me in circles in imitation of his racing lineage, he is a grandson of Affirmed the last horse to win the Triple Crown. He is my best friend and makes me laugh all the time. When we were competing, he used to excel in the equitation classes especially the equitation over fences which means it was my position and riding skill that were judged rather than his way of going. hence my handle of equitationgirl.
